Triumph Announce 50th Anniversary North American Tour Featuring 10 Canadian Arena Shows
One of Canada's most internationally successful Canadian rock bands, the trio cap off a big year with news of a reunion for a major North American tour beginning in April.

2025 has already been a huge year for Canadian rock heroes Triumph and it just got bigger.
The trio (comprising Rik Emmett, Gil Moore and Mike Levine) has just announced their first full tour in 30 years. Celebrating their 50th anniversary, the tour is an extensive 2026 North American run that begins on April 22 at GFL Memorial Gardens in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and closes out in Boston's Leader Bank Pavilion on June 6. In all, 10 Canadian and 14 American cities are included on the tour.
In a statement, Triumph declares that the tour has been inspired by their loyal fan base.

"Our fans have always been the heart of Triumph. Their energy, their belief, and the way they embraced the positivity in our music have carried us for fifty years. We’ve always said these songs were meant to bring people together — and that’s exactly why we’re coming back now. We knew there was still a chapter left to write. This tour is our chance to do it, together with the people who made the Triumph journey possible.”
News of the band’s now eagerly-anticipated return to the road caps off a year that has already showcased Triumph's major impact on rock, not just in Canada but around the globe. In June 2025, the group was celebrated with Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph, a 15-track tribute album featuring rock luminaries such as Alex Lifeson, Sebastian Bach, Slash, Nancy Wilson, Joey Belladonna, Dee Snider, Lawrence Gowan, Deen Castronovo (Ween) Phil X and Mickey Thomas, and produced by Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake).
Also in June, Triumph reunited for their first public performance since 2008, performing in Edmonton before Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Triumph was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in October, a prestigious honour that follows entry into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame (2007), the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2008) and Canada’s Walk of Fame (2019). In September, they were shown hometown love when the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame presented Triumph with a first-ever Icon Award.

Conducting the induction honours at the the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame was Tom Cochrane, who spoke eloquently about the band's decades-long career and influence. “Triumph’s songs were the fuel that powered the spectacle. Behind the smoke bombs and lights, it was always about the songwriting,” Cochrane said. “Those anthems that lifted people up and became part of their lives.”
Offering kudos virtually were actor Kiefer Sutherland, Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider and rock musician Sebastian Bach. At the ceremony, emerging vocalist JJ Wilde and guitar shredder Charlie Edward performed a version of Triumph anthem “Magic Power,” and Emmett reunited with the band’s live guitarist Phil X for “Lay It on the Line.”
Over a career that has been one of the most successful ever for a Canadian rock band, Triumph have sold over 15 million albums worldwide with multiple gold and platinum certifications. They were known for high-energy and pyro-heavy performances in sold-out arenas around the world. An acclaimed 2021 film documentary, Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine, followed their career journey.

General tickets for the Triumph 50th Anniversary Tour with special guest April Wine, will be available on Friday, December 12 at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Triumph has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold will support SoundsUnite.
