SHEIN is ready for festival season.
Fans across Canada are planning the looks they'll wear all summer long. Mood boards are filling up, shopping carts are being curated and multiple outfits are being mapped out well before the first gates open. As the destination for affordable fashion, SHEIN brings together this season's biggest festival trends in one place, offering everything from boho and western-inspired looks to retro streetwear and desert rave styles across a wide range of sizes and budgets.
Music festivals have become one of the most influential intersections of music, fashion and internet culture. The lineup may get people through the gates, but personal style has become a defining part of the experience itself. From TikTok outfit inspiration and shopping hauls to “Get Ready With Me” videos and creator-led festival content, today's fans are treating festival fashion as an extension of self-expression.

For festivalgoers balancing ticket costs, travel expenses and accommodation, building multiple looks without overspending has become an increasingly important part of the planning process, and SHEIN is a one-stop destination for festival season.
The brand's festival collection taps into six of the aesthetics currently dominating festival grounds. Boho Festival continues to thrive through crochet cover-ups, maxi skirts, fringe details and sun-washed neutrals, while Cowgirl brings together denim cut-offs, rhinestone embellishments, western boots and fringe jackets.

Punk Rock offers a more rebellious approach through plaid, chains, band tees and combat boots, while Retro Streetwear leans into oversized silhouettes, cargo details and vintage-inspired graphics. Elsewhere, ‘80s and ‘90s Glamour embraces sequins, bold prints and statement silhouettes, while Desert Rave channels metallic fabrics, iridescent finishes and bold cut-outs built for golden hour and beyond.
Of course, festival style isn't about fitting into a single category anymore. The most memorable looks often pull from several aesthetics at once, reflecting the individuality that has become central to modern festival culture.

That sense of self-expression is also tied to accessibility. With styles available from XS to 4XL, SHEIN aims to make festival fashion more accessible to fans across a wide range of sizes, styles and budgets.
This summer, SHEIN is festival style directly to some of the biggest events in Canada. FVDED In The Park takes place in B.C. on July 3 and 4, and features major electronic artists like Dom Dolla, Fisher and Disco Lines, while Calgary's Badlands Music Festival runs from July 2-12 and features acts like Above & Beyond, Loud Luxury, Mau P and more.
New data from SHEIN suggests that planning begins earlier than ever. According to a survey of more than 18,000 shoppers, nearly 69% of festivalgoers start putting together their festival outfits at least a month before an event, almost double the number who said the same in 2024. Shopping haul videos (43.4%), Get Ready With Me content (40.5%) and online mood boards (38.8%) rank among the biggest influences driving outfit decisions this season.

And once those plans begin, they don't stop at a single look. Nearly 58% of festivalgoers say they're packing two or more outfits per day, reflecting how festivals have evolved into multi-day style experiences. One outfit for daytime sets, another for sunset photos, another for late-night performances. Festival season is no longer simply a weekend on the calendar. For many Gen Z and Millennial fans, it's an entire styling season.

As festivalgoers plan earlier and pack more than ever before, affordability remains one of the biggest factors shaping purchasing decisions. Nearly 62% of respondents identified price as one of their top three considerations when shopping for festival outfits, followed by comfort (49%) and wearability (39%). Many shoppers are aiming to spend $25 or less on apparel pieces such as tops and shorts, while targeting under $10 for accessories like jewellery, sunglasses and bandanas.

Because while the artists provide the soundtrack, festivals have become about something bigger than the performances alone. They're about community, creativity and showing up as the fullest version of yourself.
