Music festivals are special places where people come together to enjoy music, good vibes, and create memories that last. Whether it's dancing at VELD in Toronto, rapping with Doechii at Osheaga in Montreal, or taking in the fresh energy of Alanis and Hozier at Sommo on Prince Edward Island, festivals bring people closer to the music and to each other.

From global stars like Olivia Rodrigo and Tyler, the Creator lighting up the stage at Osheaga, to high-energy sets by Martin Garrix and Tiësto at VELD, and major country acts like Shaboozey and Sheryl Crow at Lasso in Montreal, the festival talent lineup this summer is stacked.

But there’s one thing that often gets forgotten when you’re caught up in all the fun: drinking enough water. Staying hydrated is crucial to keeping your energy up and enjoying the day.

That’s where Brita comes in. The No. 1 water filtration brand in Canada, Brita is making sure fans throughout Canada have easy access to fresh, clean and healthy water so they can focus on what matters: enjoying the music.

There are Brita refill stations at some of the biggest and best festivals in Canada, including VELD, Sommo, Osheaga, SunFest Country Music Festival, Ile Soniq and Lasso. These stations make it easy to refill a bottle quickly without missing what you came for. No need to wait in long lines or buy expensive drinks. Just stop by, fill up, and get back to dancing.

Brita’s goal is simple: to help people stay refreshed and energized so they can enjoy every set and every surprise.

Now, here’s the exciting part: Brita is giving one lucky person the chance to go to any Canadian festival in 2026 – with all expenses paid. This means Brita will cover flights, hotel and tickets for one person and their guest. It’s the ultimate Canadian festival experience.

The CRTC recently launched a call for applications for FM radio stations to serve Indigenous communities in Toronto and Ottawa. Broadcast Dialogue reports "the call follows the demise of First Peoples Radio’s ELMNT FM stations, which went off the air on Sept. 1 last year. Launched in the fall of 2018, the stations had a goal to 'fill the gap' for urban Indigenous listeners under-represented in the radio landscape. They carried an 'Indigenous-variety' format, featuring both English and Indigenous-language spoken-word and musical programming, with 25% of the playlist dedicated to Indigenous talent.

In its call, the commission says in its view, "there is a need and a demand for radio stations to serve the needs and interests of those communities."
