Doja Cat isn’t choosin’ Texas these days. Doja joined Caleb Pressley’s Sundae Conversation on Sunday (Aug. 23), and she appeared to not have any clue about who Ella Langley is, while the country singer has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 19 non-consecutive weeks with her “Choosin’ Texas” smash.

The Grammy-winning artist fell for a Darth Vader versus elevator joke, which Pressley’s followed up by changing the subject to Langley. “Did you think I was talkin about Ella Langley?” he asked. “Are you an Ella’s Fella?”

A confused Doja responded: “I don’t know what that is.”

Pressley was taken a back that Doja Cat wasn’t familiar with the country singer, but wasn’t sure if he was being trolled. “Do you like Ella Langley,” he said.

Doja continued to double down that she had no idea what he was talking about. “I don’t what that is. Ella Langley? Ella Langley,” she replied while repeating the singer’s name.

While Doja Cat spends time online and livestreaming with her fans, it seems Ella Langley hasn’t made it to her algorithm just yet.

Billboard has reached out to Langley’s reps for comment.

Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” anthem notched a 19th week atop the Hot 100 on the chart dated Aug. 29, tying the longest non-holiday run ever at the summit, alongside Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ “Old Town Road” and Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song.”

While Doja isn’t up on the 27-year-old country breakout, Drake certainly is. Just days after crowning Langley with the “Goated pen,” Drizzy pulled up to her concert on Saturday night (Aug. 22) in North Little Rock, Ark. The 6 God was spotted in the crowd, and fans now have their fingers crossed that a collaboration could soon come.

As for Doja Cat, the North American leg of her Tour Ma Vie World Tour is slated to kick off in Detroit on Oct. 1.
