Madonna Releasing Instrumental Version of ‘Confession II’ Album
The streaming version will drop on Friday (Nov. 6).

Madonna is preparing to take you to a silent disco. The “Love Sensation” singer announced on Wednesday (Nov. 4) that she will drop Confessions II: Instrumentals on streaming on Friday (Nov. 6), with a vinyl version to follow on Nov. 10.
“For a good time!,” she wrote on X, where she included a logo for the voice-less LP featuring the same purple color palette as the original and the title wrapped around the speaker image that has also been used to promote the original album. “Turn up the Volume 🎧💜.”
Madonna earned her 10th No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 when Confessions II debuted atop the chart dated July 18. The collection gave the pop icon her first No. 1 album of the 2020s and helped her become the first act with a No. 1 album in the 2020s to also have topped the chart in three other decades. It also racked up her biggest streaming week ever for an album.
The 16-song collection is a sequel to 2005’s chart-topping Confessions on a Dance Floor, and it reunited Madonna with her main collaborator on the project, producer/DJ Stuart Price. In addition to Price, the LP featured collaborations with Tainy, Martin Garrix, Mirwais, Cirkut and Andrew Watt, as well as songs with Feid, Stromae and Sabrina Carpenter, who teamed up with Madonna on the pop hit”Bring Your Love,” which reached No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The album has also spun off a remix of “Love Sensation” featuring Kylie Minogue and a remix with Charli xcx of “Danceteria” titled “Danceteria Afterhours.”
