A string of presenters and performers has been added to this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Today (Oct. 29), the museum and hall of fame revealed Canadians Avril Lavigne, Bryan Adams, Feist and Jim Carrey will take the stage at its 40th anniversary celebration.

Lavigne has had a good 2025, performing at various festivals, including the Festival d'été de Québec, while Adams is currently on a global tour, but made time to celebrate Lights, Billboard Canada’s Women in Music 2025 Visionary Award winner, in Toronto earlier this month.

Singer-songwriter Feist is set to wrap up an opening stint with Lord Huron and recently ranked at No. 99 on Consequence’s best guitarists list and Carrey has maintained his role in the limelight as an actor and artist.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony honours this year's inductees: Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes in the performer category.

The performer inductees will be celebrated alongside Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon for in the musical influence category, Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye for musical excellence and Lenny Waronker for the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

Qualifying artists for the Rock Hall are a group of performers, composers and/or musicians who “become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first commercial recording. Besides demonstrating unquestionable musical excellence and talent, inductees will have had a significant impact on the development, evolution and preservation of rock n’ roll.”

This follows yesterday’s announcement, which added pop it-girl Chappell Roan and rock band The Killers to the list, with the former inducting '80s hitmaker Lauper.

The new cohort joins the previously announced lineup: Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Elton John, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Missy Elliott, Olivia Rodrigo, Questlove, RAYE, Sleepy Brown, Taylor Momsen, Teddy Swims and Twenty One Pilots.

Live Nation Reaches Settlement With DOJ In Antitrust Case, But Some States Will ‘Keep Fighting’

The deal would reportedly include some major structural changes, but would not require Live Nation to divest Ticketmaster.

Live Nation has reportedly reached a settlement with the Department of Justice to resolve federal antitrust accusations without selling Ticketmaster, but several state attorneys general are planning to move ahead with the case.

The settlement, first reported Monday by Politico, would require big concessions from Live Nation including opening Ticketmaster’s platform to rivals, limiting how it uses exclusive deals with venues, and selling several amphitheaters. Live Nation would also pay $200 million to 40 states involved in the case.
