This week, Canadian singer Lights is kicking off her world tour in celebration of 2026’s A6 Extended. This Timmins, Ontario native is hitting Western Canada, performing in Edmonton and Calgary, with support from fellow Ontario natives, sibling duo Softcult. The Billboard Canada Visionary Award winner has been a mainstay for two decades and is set to deliver an energizing set filled with decades-spanning hits ranging in genres.
Additionally, Quebec singer Dumas brings over 20 years of hits to Brossard, while CanRock icons The Trews perform in Vancouver. Then, Nine Inch Nails takes the stage in Montreal and Hamilton, while soulful R&B songster Miguel secures a show in Toronto.

Lights is shining her way through Western Canadian.
This week, the Canadian singer is kicking off a string of tour dates, starting in Alberta, before going stateside. The Ontario native will perform in Edmonton and Calgary to celebrate her deluxe album, A6 Extended, released last month.
While the standard version, A6, put her in heavy rotation on Canadian radio, the first taste of the extended album, “Education,” and the record’s subsequent singles, doubled down on how infectious her current electro-pop sound can be.
Lights has scored 10 songs on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and eight charting albums on the Canadian Albums chart. As Lights takes the stage, she’s set to deliver a high-energy set filled with steady vocals, a cheeky dose of crowd interaction and a stream of decades-spanning hits. “I have been paying attention to the songs you have been asking for, trustttt,” she wrote on Instagram.
Last year, Lights made history as the first-ever Billboard Canada Women in Music Visionary Award recipient, acknowledging her work in music, visual arts, mental health advocacy and beyond. “There is no time to do anything other than what excites you,” she advised attendees. “May we all be visionaries in our own experience.”
Following her Alberta shows, Lights will head stateside, before returning to her home country — making stops in London, Ottawa, Québec City and Montreal. Ontario twin-sibling duo Softcult are set to open the shows, proving to be a true Canadian affair.

Dumas, Le Club DIX30, Brossard — February 13
Dumas is one of the lucky artists who received a Heated Rivalry boost after being included in Crave’s steamy gay hockey romance series. The Quebec native’s hit “Une journée parfaite" got a serious synch in the pilot, surging by 1,500% in Spotify streams. As he takes the stage in his home province, Dumas will trade his glitzy setup for a stripped-back, minimalist setting as he revisits over two decades of music.

The Trews, Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver — February 13
CanRock favourites The Trews are making a stop on the west coast, bringing their powerhouse sound and electrifying energy to the stage. The Nova Scotia band are rocking out in support of their most recent release, The Bloody Light, featuring the Billboard Canada Mainstream Rock Airplay chart hit “The Breakdown,” which peaked at No. 3. Recently, guitarist John-Angus MacDonald said the Vancouver event space is one of their “favourite venues in the country.”

Nine Inch Nails, Bell Centre, Montreal — February 16; TD Coliseum, Hamilton — February 18
Following a successful string of shows, Nine Inch Nails are continuing to peel it back as the veteran industrial rock group, fronted by singer/guitarist Trent Reznor and keyboardist/bassist Atticus Ross — and featuring the return of former Foo Fighters drummer Josh Freese — heads to Montreal’s Bell Centre and Hamilton’s TD Coliseum. Their high-energy, visually stunning show caters to fans of varying degrees, as they flex their biggest hits and deep cuts.

Miguel, History, Toronto — February 18
Known for his magnetic stage presence, Miguel brings his signature blend of smooth R&B and funk to Toronto. In 2025, the sultry singer spent most of the year teasing his fifth studio album, CAOS — now he’s taking the project on the road. Calling the record a “personal and artistic rebirth,” Miguel is set to deliver a passionate performance.
