The pop hitmaker’s track “I Just Might” soars to No. 1 on the Canadian Hot 100, while The Romantic debuts in the top spot on the Canadian Albums chart.
Bruno Mars has hit No. 1 on two prominent Billboard Canada charts.
The pop singer scores the top spot on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 as the infectious “I Just Might” climbs 3-1. It served as the lead single from his fourth studio album, The Romantic, which debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart – both dated March 14.
His chart-topping success continues Mars’ dominance in Canada, following a historic touring record across the country, as he gears up to play five nights at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium in May and another five at Vancouver’s BC Place in October.
The most recent artist to score to two No. 1s in Canada was Bad Bunny, following his unifying Super Bowl Halftime performance.
The Romantic is Mars’ first solo album since 2016’s 24K Magic, which only peaked at No. 2 on the Canadian Albums chart. He has notched two other No. 1 albums in Canada, 2011’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans and 2013’s Unorthodox Jukebox, both of which spent two weeks in the top spot. This week, 24K re-enters the ranking at No. 86, while Doo-Wops rises 52-49.
Despite the decade-long gap between projects, his star power has continued to grow. His immensely successful collaborations with Rosé (“APT.”) and Lady Gaga (“Die With a Smile”), blazed through most of last year, spending seven and six weeks at the top, respectively, on the Canadian Hot 100. They landed at No. 3 and No. 4 on Billboard Canada's Canadian Hot 100 Songs of 2025.
The entirety of Mars’ newest nine-track LP arrives on this week’s Canadian Hot 100: “Risk It All” (No. 9), Cha Cha Cha (No. 35), “God Was Showing Off” (No. 39), “Why You Wanna Fight?” (No. 41), “Dance With Me” (No. 42), “On My Soul” (No. 46), “Something Serious” (No. 49) and “Nothing Left” (No. 53).
Fellow chart-topper Alex Warren is experiencing a “Fever Dream,” as he lands a new entry on the Canadian Hot 100 at No. 10 — a whopping 31 spots higher than his home U.S. Hot 100.
The upbeat hit captures the surreal intensity of life at full speed, as he details a hard-hitting romantic love, reflecting on meeting his wife for the first time and unpacking the ever-changing chaos of fame: “Left the room the second that you walked in, somethin' like a fever dream / Haven't slept in weeks, I think I'm seeing things.”
After teasing the dance-ready track on social media — with his posts amassing nearly 100 million views — “Fever Dream” marks the latest release from Warren as he ushers in a new era. It promptly follows up his breakthrough year, which earned him the second-longest charting song at No. 1 in Canada with “Ordinary” at 20 weeks, just behind Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” The track is still a major force on the Canadian Hot 100, dropping 2-3.
With a new song in tow, Warren will be hitting the road this summer, making stops at arenas and amphitheatres in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
Further down, BLACKPINK’s “Go” arrives at No. 50, versus No. 63 in the U.S. Earlier this year, the K-pop girl group announced their third album, Deadline, which debuts at No. 25 in Canada. Other notable debuts include Mumford & Sons’ Chris Stapleton-featuring track “Here” at No. 71, plus two entries from rising singer Bella Kay: “The Sick (No. 91) and “Steady” (No. 99), in addition to “Iloveitiloveitiloveit” which hits a new peak at No. 16.
Hot on the heels of his sold-out Canadian shows, the mysterious Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid finds a new spot at No. 92 on the Canadian Hot 100, with “Made It On Our Own,” featuring fellow rapper Yeat. The track joins “4Raws” at No. 56 and “Phantom” featuring Rico Ace, which rises 83-81. On spot down, Yeat re-enters at No. 93 with his solo hit “Come N Go.”
