2026 has been a big year for concerts, and it's not done yet. From Sombr and Phoebe Bridgers’ first-ever arena shows to Olivia Rodrigo’s six sold-out shows across the country, Canadian fans will be treated to a slew of blockbuster events as we inch closer to the end of the year.
Here are the most anticipated concerts coming to Canada in Fall and Winter 2026.
The 365 party girl is returning to Toronto. Hot on the heels of her latest top 5 album, Music, Fashion, Film, Charli XCX will play one Canadian show in support. Last year, the “360” singer established a unique tie to the city, after flying to record with director David Cronenberg, who is featured on the album’s closing track. Despite Charli’s surge in popularity, she’s embarking on an intentionally intimate run of dates following her Brat takeover: “I have to honour my truth as an artist: touring is really emotionally and physically hard for me,” she wrote on Instagram. What’s special about this trek is that “Angel Tickets” will be available: $20 seats that can be purchased in pairs, with the section being revealed on the day of the show.
Sept. 21 — Toronto, ON — Scotiabank Arena
Every year, Polaris Music Prize celebrates the best and brightest in Canadian music. This year’s short-list lineup includes the buzzy Angine de Poitrine, Rochelle Jordan, Peaches and Bibi Club, among other major homegrown acts. All 10 short-listed artists are slated to perform at the award ceremony, held at Massey Hall. Recently, the organization has undergone multiple changes, including expanding its voting pool, adjusting to financial constraints and awarding albums and songs. “It's something that we've been thinking about for a while,” executive director at Polaris Music Prize, Amber Still, tells Billboard Canada, emphasizing that the changes are meant to “protect the Prize.”
Sept. 22 — Toronto, ON — Massey Hall
An ambitious new event is making its way to Toronto from Sept. 24-26. Second Summer Festival will showcase over 100 artists at 13 west end venues, featuring headliners like rock duo Cleopatrick, singer-songwriter EKKSTACY, rock band Militarie Gun. Founded by Canadian artist and label manager Brendan McCarney, festival organizers shared that the three-day event is anti-algorithm, focusing on real-world discovery — they even tapped local band PUP to curate nine acts to perform at the festival. They’ll appear alongside notable names like Art d'Ecco, Bells Larsen, Cootie Catcher, Elephant Stone, Housewife, Lia Pappas-Kemps, Loviet, Pale Blue Eyes, Softcult, Ribbon Skirt, sundayclub and more.
Sept. 24-26 — Toronto, ON — Multiple venues
Less than a month after Shaboozey played the inaugural Boots and Hearts West in Edmonton, the country hitmaker is returning to Canada to perform concerts in Laval, Toronto and Vancouver, in support of his latest album, The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales. He will play a string of tracks that are bound to incite a thigh-slapping, country music party. While the singer will mostly be performing tracks from his fourth studio album, fans will be eager to hear his chart-topping hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which spent a record 25 weeks at No. 1 on the Canadian Hot 100. He was presented a special plaque by Billboard Canada for his chart achievement onstage at his Toronto concert at Danforth Music Hall in 2024.

Sombr has had a major ascent since going viral for his 2025 songs "Back to Friends" and "Undressed" — both of which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. Less than a year after playing intimate venues, the “My Body Isn’t Ready” singer has been tapped for big festival lineups and he's slated to bring his charting hits to an even larger audience, performing in major arenas across Canada, including Vancouver and Toronto.

It has been a breakout year for Slayyyter. While she has been making music for the better part of a decade, this past summer, the hyperpop act earned her debut entry on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 with “Dance…” which is a summer favourite alongside “brand new chanel$.” Just a couple of months later, the Missouri native is heading to Canada, playing back-to-back shows in Montreal and Toronto. She's sure to graduate from the theatre-sized venues next time around.

After six long years, Phoebe Bridgers returned with her third album, Lost Weekend. The tour announcement came after Bridgers spent a couple of months doing last-minute pop-up shows across the U.S. This fall, she’s embarking on a larger-scale trek, playing two Canadian cities, Toronto and Vancouver, where she’ll be joined by indie act Alex G. What’s unique about Bridgers’ shows is they’re phone-free, with fans being required to lock their phones in a Yondr pouch. Fans will be able connect with one of their favourite artists without a sea of screens.

After a decade's worth of hits, country duo Dan + Shay reintroduced themselves to the music industry with their new album, Young, in August. While the pair is known for songs like “Tequila” and the Justin Bieber-featuring “10,000 Hours,” they decided to go back to the basics on their latest record. “Let’s be vulnerable and authentic, let’s find a way to say things in a way that only we can say them,” one half of the duo, Shay Mooney, told Billboard Canada in a recent cover story. In support of the album, the dynamic pair is headlining Toronto’s major waterfront venue, RBC Amphitheatre, just a couple of months after playing an intimate Billboard Canada THE STAGE concert at NXNE.

Smashing Pumpkins are a key piece of bassist and photographer Melissa Auf der Maur’s photo exhibit at Toronto’s Art Gallery of Ontario, where the Montreal-born musician sings the praises of the Chicago rockers. The group celebrated the 30th anniversary of their lauded double album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, in 2025 and are keeping the celebrations going with a North American trek. The shows will feature “two unique sets” with songs from Mellon Collie as well as "unruly hits and dark treasures” from their decades-spanning discography. The Pumpkins are slated to play four shows across Canadian arenas, kicking off at Hamilton’s TD Coliseum, before performing in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.

After dominating the 2024 and 2025 charts with blockbuster duets like “Die For A Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT.” with ROSÉ, Bruno Mars is continuing his global trek after returning with The Romantic, his first solo album in nearly a decade. After a record run of shows at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium in May, Mars will set a record at another major Canadian stadium with five nights at Vancouver’s BC Place.
Oct. 14, 16-17, 20-21 — Vancouver, BC — BC Place
Olivia Rodrigo is one of the year's hottest tickets. Earlier this year, the star singer released her third album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, and it had a historic moment on the charts, becoming her third straight No. 1 album in Canada, led by her third No. 1 lead single, “Drop Dead.” When the singer announced the supporting tour, tickets sold out almost instantly. Rodrigo is slated to play a trio of cities across the country, including Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. While Wolf Alice will open for Rodrigo in the first two cities, Devon Again takes the reins in Vancouver. Like Charli XCX, Rodrigo released a limited number of Silver Star tickets, priced at $20.

Angine de Poitrine are everywhere. After exploding in popularity over the last few months — including a record crowd at Montreal’s International Jazz Festival and a U.S. late-night TV show debut the viral math rock aliens have gone global, earning the first-ever Billboard Canada Global Breakthrough Award. After playing five shows in Toronto in a week in June — one of which included an opening set for Jack White — the band will circle back to Toronto for one bigger night at History. The Billboard Canada cover stars show no signs of slowing down.

A few months after wrapping up the first leg of their Canadian tour, Hamilton’s own Arkells are reigniting their city concert takeovers — in support of their recent album Between Us — by playing a trio of different sized venues across Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Ottawa in November. Echoing the sentiment of frontman Max Kerman’s Billboard Canada guest column, connecting via multi-night stands in the same city allows the band to “introduce the new record, stretch across our entire catalogue and create a different experience each night."

Less than a year ago, Wolf Parade’s “I Believe in Anything” had a viral resurgence following its inclusion on Heated Rivalry. The Montreal-formed band has celebrated the song’s success by reissuing Apologies to the Queen Mary, releasing a piano cover and later this year, hitting the road, playing intimate venues across the country, from Vancouver’s The Pearl to Montreal’s MTELUS. In the summer, the group performed on their old stomping grounds at Osheaga, captivating new and old fans alike with their decades-spanning discography — and they’re sure to bring the same charm to their headline shows.

A couple of months since the release of Tyla’s sophomore album, A*Pop, the South African singer has mapped out plans to tour. Known for hits like “Water” and “Chanel” — both of which reached the top 25 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 — the Billboard 2025 Women in Music Impact Award recipient’s headlining trek will bring her to two Canadian cities: Vancouver and Toronto. “Who’s coming?” she asked on Instagram. Tyla is one of the successful artists blending pop and R&B with amapiano and other African genres, captivating listeners across the world.

This year, Rush returned to the stage. Their 2026 headline tour, Fifty Something, has reunited original members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, who have been paying tribute to their late drummer and main lyricist, Neil Peart. This trek marks the first time the Rush members will tour together since 2015’s R40 40th anniversary tour. In Peart’s place, they’ve enlisted German drummer and musician Anika Nilles. On this run, they’ve already played shows in Toronto and Montreal, but now longtime fans in Edmonton and Vancouver get the chance to hear the band’s decades-spanning discography.
