bülow - Get Stupid ( Wax Records). The young Juno-winning and platinum-selling electro-pop artist has just released a music video for her newest single, Get Stupid.

The track features her understated yet fluent vocals atop some rhythmic synth lines. Lyrically, the tune outlines some decidedly foolish behaviour: "DIY bongs in the bathroom. She shot gun kissing a frat boy in the bathtub, He bad news."

The track is off bulow's latest EP Crystalline, released earlier this year, and was produced by Mike Wise, who produced several songs on the EP. When discussing the accompanying video for the song whose concept was envisioned by the singer herself, bülow commented in a press release that "when I was younger, I wanted to be an inventor, to create things. I think everybody strives for the feeling of self-importance, trying to find their ways to be remembered. My character created a flying device, it didn’t work out, but that wasn’t the end.”

On the cusp of 20, bülow scored big-time with her debut EPs Damaged Vol. 1 and Damaged Vol. 2, which included the multi-platinum selling hit Not A Love Song that has generated over 50 million streams worldwide.

A child of the globe, Megan Bülow has grown up in five countries, including Canada, Germany, the UK, the US, and recently graduated from high-school in The Netherlands. Her global presence won her the Roots ‘Sweat Style’ Fall 2018 campaign, as well as features in both Vogue UK and Billboard (to name a few). bülow’s shows include a US tour with Fickle Friends and the iHeart Radio Jingle Ball in Toronto alongside the Chainsmokers, Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, and more.

She plays Osheaga in Montreal on Aug. 3 and Lollapalooza in Chicago, Aug. 4. US dates follow in October.

MacKenzie Porter Makes Her Solo TV Debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show

Surrounded by flowers and plants and backed by a six-piece band, the Canadian country rising star performed the ballad 'Pay Me Back In Change' from her new sophomore album, 'Nobody's Born With a Broken Heart.'

Canadian singer MacKenzie Porter made her solo TV debut this week, bringing Albertan country music to The Kelly Clarkson Show. (She previously duetted as a featured artist with Dustin Lynch onGood Morning America.)

The rising star performed the broken-hearted ballad "Pay Me Back In Change" in a lush gazebo setting, surrounded by plants and flowers, as well as a six-piece band. The performance shows off her pristine voice, as Porter urges a lover to make good on his debts. "I'm so damn broke on love / you better cough it up," Porter sings, accompanied by a tasteful countermelody on the violin.
