Two notable Canadian singer-songwriters reverse their usual roles on new releases this week.

Andy Shauf returns to his early band Foxwarren for their second album, 2, while Stars luminary Amy Millan returns to her solo project with a new full-length, I Went To Find You.

Rising pop singer and social media luminary Alicia Moffet has released her new album No, I'm Not Crying, her first on Montreal label Cult Nation, home of international star Charlotte Cardin. Listen to the song "Fake," which was inspired by an ill-advised night Moffet had reading a Reddit thread about herself.

They're not the only Canadian artists delivering anticipated new albums this week. Juno-winning Hamilton hard rockers the Dirty Nil put out Free Rein To Passions, hotly-tipped melodic pop artist Mint Simon release their debut EP, Chimera, and Unessential Oils, a new project by Warren Spicer of Plants and Animals, drops The Purest of Oils.
