Sabrina Carpenter Celebrates the First Anniversary of ‘Man’s Best Friend’ With Toronto Pop-Up
On Aug. 29, fans of the chart-topping pop singer can snag exclusive merch and participate in unique fan activations, including a Polaroid photo wall at 80 Atlantic Ave.

Sabrina Carpenter is commemorating the first anniversary of Man’s Best Friend in Toronto.
The Grammy-winning pop star will have a one-day pop-up at 80 Atlantic Ave (the home of Universal Music Canada) to celebrate her chart-topping album. At the shop, fans can buy exclusive merch and participate in unique fan activations, including a Polaroid photo wall.
The pop-up will be open from 11 am to 8 pm, the pop-up or until quantities run out. To avoid long wait times, the official line-up to get in begins outside of the store at 10 am, an hour before the shop officially opens.

Man’s Best Friend is Carpenter’s seventh studio album and her second project to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. It spent two weeks at the top and 51 weeks on the overall chart. The album came almost exactly a year after 2024’s Short n’ Sweet, which hit No. 1 and spent nine weeks at the top. That project remained on the chart for 104 weeks.
Less than three months after the Man’s Best Friend’s arrival, the album became platinum-certified by the RIAA in her home country.
The album holds Carpenter’s highest-charting single in Canada with “Manchild,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, despite reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The album features another top-5 hit in Canada for the pop singer, “Tears,” which peaked at No. 4 on the Canadian Hot 100.
Carpenter has an affinity for Toronto. During Carpenter’s first of two sold-out nights at Scotiabank Arena last November, she performed “My Man on Willpower” for the first time, a Man’s Best Friend song that reached the top 20 on the Canadian Hot 100. At another concert there in 2024, she revealed she briefly lived in the city.

While she has yet to release any new solo music this year, Carpenter has been having a major year. She recently headlined Coachella, with Justin Bieber and Karol G. During her weekend two set, she brought out Madonna to perform what was then an unreleased duet. It went on to become “Bring Your Love,” a dance-infused track on Madonna’s Confessions II, which became the hitmaker’s first No. 1 album in over a decade. “Bring Your Love” reached No. 51 on the Canadian Hot 100.
