Ariana Grande Is Revealing the ‘Petal’ Tracklist One Song at a Time on Tour: Here Are the First 3 Titles
One of them is "Hate That I Made You Love Me," the set's No. 1 hit lead single.

The tracklist for Ariana Grande‘s new album, Petal, is in the process of blooming, with fans recently realizing that the pop superstar is unveiling one song title at a time on her ongoing Eternal Sunshine Tour.
On Sunday (June 14), Grande played the second of two shows at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, both of which featured a countdown on the big, circular screen that’s a core part of her show’s visuals. At the 3-minute mark of the countdown on Sunday, the screen “glitched” to display: “3. petal,” revealing that the third song on the album will be its title track.

The moment confirmed fan suspicions that the Wicked star was rolling out the tracklist in this manner after something similar happened on Saturday (June 13) before her first performance at the L.A. arena. When that night’s countdown reached the 1-minute mark, “1. kiss me” flashed briefly on the screen, which Grande also shared a clip of on Instagram Sunday.
With Grande having already released lead single “Hate That I Made You Love Me” — which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier in June and is listed in the second slot of Petal‘s tracklist preview on streaming services — we now know the first three song titles. The album will open with “Kiss Me,” “Hate That I Made You Love Me” and “Petal,” in that order.
Petal will have a total of 12 tracks, meaning there are still nine titles left to go. Grande’s next performance on her trek is set for Wednesday (June 17) at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., where she’ll play three shows and possibly unveil three more song names.
Fans will have to wait until the album drops on July 31 to know what those songs will entail, but the Grammy winner has previously described Petal as “a little feral” and “from a place I’ve been maybe too shy or polite to tap into before.”

By the time the album does arrive, the Eternal Sunshine Tour will be most of the way over. Following upcoming dates in the U.S. and Canada, Grande will close out with 10 shows at the O2 Arena in London ending Sept. 1.
