The rapper debuted "Shabang," "Burning Bridges" and "Janice STFU" live during a surprise appearance at Don Toliver's Toronto show on his Octane world tour last night (Aug. 30). "This is my first time performing the album since it dropped, so thank you for being here," Drake told the crowd.
Last night (Aug. 30), Don Toliver sent his fans into a frenzy by bringing out Drake to perform during the Toronto stop on his Nitrous tour. As roars erupted throughout Scotiabank Arena, Drake played tracks from his No. 1 album Iceman for the first time ever, kicking off with his Canadian top 10 hit "Shabang," which transitioned directly into "Burning Bridges."
Drake treated the crowd to "Janice STFU," and the volume in the arena reached a record high as fans sang along to its earworm chorus. The hit single debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, where it spent three consecutive weeks at the top, becoming Drake's longest-running chart-topping hit of the decade. While summer is coming to a close, the song-of-the-summer contender's live debut proved that its run is far from over.

The pair shared a wholesome exchange onstage following Drake's mini-set, with Toliver giving Drake his flowers for influencing him and hip-hop in general. “I appreciate you for inspiring us all," he said. "You know damn well this shit wouldn’t be this s–t if you ain’t do this s–t, bro. I appreciate you so much. You inspired me, and you inspired all of us. Thank you so much for pulling up on me.”
Drake returned the favour, voicing his gratitude for being able to perform in his hometown and test out hits from his new album live for the first time. “I just wanna thank Don for having me out tonight," he said. "This is my first time performing the album since it dropped, so thank you for being here. Look, I love this thing that we do so much in front of the city, I just want to thank you for keeping this s–t alive. You’ve had an incredible year.”

Both Toliver and Drake have seen noteworthy success on the charts this year, both topping the Billboard Canadian Albums charts with their respective albums Octane, released in January, and Iceman, released in May. Drake became the first artist ever to occupy three spots in the Canadian top 5 in one week, with Maid of Honour and Habibti landing at No. 2 and No. 4 while Iceman held the top spot.
Drake has continued to make headlines with social events and appearances throughout Toronto all summer, most recently appearing at the famed Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) wearing an Iron Man suit while seemingly filming a music video. As fans speculate whether the video is intended for tracks from Maid of Honour or Habibti, or a new album entirely, Drake has continued to drop hints on Instagram regarding a possible new LP.
Yesterday, a handwritten letter by Drake surfaced online in which he signed off with "6'er ICE 2026 FOMO." It's the latest mention he's made of the "FOMO" slogan, after captioning a recent Instagram post "FOMO 2026" and posting a photo of a CD case donning the phrase "Fear of Missing Out." As fans continue to make sense of these cryptic posts, it's already apparent that they're hungry and ready for a new live show from the Iceman.
