Jully Black to Perform at Toronto's Casa Loma for Walk of Fame Summer Series
The R&B singer will kick off a series of concerts at the famed Toronto castle, while PartyNextDoor and Childish Gambino also set their sights on Canadian dates this summer.

There’s plenty of action to look forward to this summer across Canada.
Canada’s Walk of Fame and Toronto's Casa Loma, in partnership with Seeing Red Media, have combined forces to announce The Sunset Concerts, a series of concerts at the iconic Gothic castle. R&B singer and 2021 Walk of Fame inductee Jully Black will kick off the performances on June 11, joined by singer-songwriter J3M and hosted by Indigenous rights activist Autumn Peltier.
“Set against the backdrop of one of the greatest venues in the country, The Sunset Concerts unites emerging stars with well-known artists, and blends new music with timeless classics for an unforgettable experience," says Walk of Fame CEO Jeffrey Latimer of the new venture. The series will run weekly on Tuesday nights until August 27, with a portion of ticket sales going to Kids Help Phone.

Also setting his sights on a Toronto performance this summer is Billboard Canadacover star PartyNextDoor, who just announced an extra date for his Sorry I’m Outside tour due to popular demand from fans in his hometown. The “Break from Toronto” rapper will now be hitting up Budweiser Stage on August 2, supporting his brand new record, P4. Presale for that show is available now.
Indonesian singer-songwriter and 88rising alumni NIKI will make her first-ever Canadian performances this fall, as part of the recently announced NIKI World Tour. She gets a show of her own at Budweiser Stage on September 5, and another at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on October 19. Find ticket information here.
Billboard chart heavy-hitter Childish Gambino announced fresh tour dates this week, in the midst of two album announcements – including the release of Atavista, a finished version of his 2020 3.15.20 album – and a hint at retirement from music.

In the meantime, however, Gambino’s The New World Tour will be travelling across the globe and stopping by for a handful of Canadian dates. These include shows at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on August 18, Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on September 23 Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome on September 27 and finally a September 29 show at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
