The beloved comedian, actor and performer will host the 2025 CCMA Awards. For the first time, the ceremony will be broadcast live from Prospera Place in Kelowna, B.C., on September 13.

Known for pushing boundaries and challenging norms of the entertainment industry, Green is set to bring his signature humour, energy and irreverent charm to the biggest night in Canadian country music.

Earlier this year, he released his fifth studio album, Home to the Country — his first full-length foray in the genre. It was accompanied by Tom Green: Country, a Prime Video TV series, which documents his experience living on a remote farm in Ontario.

“Country music has always been a big part of my life growing up in Canada,” said Green in a statement. “I can’t wait to be part of this celebration and to bring a few surprises to the stage in Kelowna.”

“We’re beyond excited to welcome Tom Green to host this year’s CCMA Awards,” said Amy Jeninga, President of the CCMA. “His bold creativity and deep Canadian roots make him the perfect choice to lead a show that celebrates connection, community, and world-class entertainment.”

The 2025 CCMA Awards wraps up Country Music Week, which runs from September 10 to September 13, transforming the culturally-savvy city into a destination for country fans, artists and industry professionals.

Loukeman's music is living on a feeling.

He has long operated in a unique lane bridging indie, alternative and dance textures into a unique sonic landscape full of pitched vocals, raw ambience and glitchy textures, a DIY approach that dates back to his beginnings making mash-ups on VirtualDJ as a kid.
