Rush are returning to the stage.
The 2026 headline tour, Fifty Something, will reunite original members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson to pay tribute to the music of Rush and the legacy of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. This will be the first time the Rush members will tour together since their R40 40th anniversary tour in 2015.
The tour will take them to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles (the same venue as their last show in 2015) starting June 7, 2026, then Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, then two shows at Scotiabank Arena in their hometown of Toronto on August 7 and 9 before wrapping up in New York City. Full dates are below.

“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of RUSH alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil," says Geddy Lee. "A lifetime’s worth of songs that we had put our cumulative hearts and souls into writing, recording and playing together onstage. And so, after all that has gone down since that last show, Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music. So in 2026 my BFF Lerxst (aka Alex Lifeson) and I are going to hit the road once again to pay tribute to our past and to Neil by performing a vast selection of RUSH songs in a handful of cities. No small task, because as we all know Neil was irreplaceable."
Drummer and musician Anika Nilles will be filling in for this tour. Lee says they also hope to add "another musician or two" to expand the sound and "free up Alex and I, in order to show off some of our new fancy dance steps."

Lee maintains a deep connection to Toronto (he's an avid Blue Jays fan) and the Canadian music industry. Last week, he sent a special congratulations to his friend Meg Symsyk, CEO of FACTOR, at Billboard Canada Women in Music.
Lee reunited with Lifeson onstage at Toronto's Massey Hall in late 2023 as part of the book tour for his memoir My Effin' Life. It was an interview, not a performance, but the pair were asked about the possibility of a Rush reunion.
In an interview following the event, Lee told Billboard Canada that it wasn't in their immediate plans, but they were not ruling it out.
"I would like to do some sort of music," he said. "If it's with Alex [Lifeson], that would be lovely. If it's on my own, that would also be interesting...I would say definitely maybe."
Carrie Nuttall-Peart and Olivia Peart, Neil Peart's widow and daughter, share that they are "thrilled to support the Fifty Something tour, celebrating a band whose music has resonated and inspired fans for generations, and to honour Neil’s extraordinary legacy as both a drummer and lyricist."
"Neil’s musicianship was singular," they continue. "Compositions of intricacy and power that expanded what rhythm itself could express. As both drummer and lyricist, he was irreplaceable. Inimitable in his artistry, and unmatched in the depth and imagination he brought to the lyrics that inspired and moved so many, he profoundly shaped how fans connected with him and the band, giving voice and meaning to their own lives. As the band enters this new chapter, it promises to be truly unforgettable. We are excited to see how their new vision unfolds, and to hear this legendary music played live once again.”
