Kaytranada has a new album that's been highly anticipated even though he only announced it on Monday.
Ain't No Damn Way! is his fourth studio album, arriving just over a year after his previous record, Timeless. It's full of the Montreal producer's signature groove, which is now practically a genre of its own, while weaving in samples from TLC, J Dilla, Tangerine Dream and more.
Kaytranada recently opened for The Weeknd on that superstar's historic run of shows at Toronto’s Roger’s Centre and will co-headline a tour with Justice in October. Here's the album's first single.
A number of Canadian artists are putting out new albums this week, which you can find in our calendar below.

Fast-rising singer-songwriter Georgia Harmer (Sarah's niece) is putting out Eye Of The Storm, self-described mad composer Friendly Rich releases The Birds of Marsville, garage rock meets synth-pop combo Neon Bloom releases Begin Here, prolific Hamilton singer-songwriter Pip puts out Expressway (his 31st album), and Toronto roots-rocker Mark Thackway has the new album Twisted. Bulgarian-Canadian-based pop artist NIIVA has Fussy, and LA-based pop-soul singer-songwriter Stacey Ryan has Blessing In Disguise.
Fresh off her recent performances at Lollapalooza and Osheaga, 21-year-old pop singer-songwriter Jade Lemac has announced her new EP, It’s Always At Night, set for release on November 7 via Warner Music Canada / East West Records.
