Haviah Mighty Drops New 'Radical Acceptance' Anthem ‘OK!’ Ahead of Pride Toronto Performance
The upbeat track precedes the Toronto rapper's headlining slot at The Wellesley Stage on June 28, 2025

Rapper Haviah Mighty is kicking off summer with a new song, “OK!”
The Juno and Polaris Music Prize-winning artist’s release comes ahead of her headlining performance at The Wellesley Stage at Pride Toronto on Saturday, June 28 (details here).
Produced by Sauceboy, Nahum, Amir Jamm and Thabo, “OK!” is a refreshing take on self-assurance. Boasting hard 808 drums and a repetitive catchy synth, the Toronto artist raps on being in a flow state, indifferent to the competition and embracing her queer identity.
"'OK!' is an affirmation song through and through. It's a non-humble, loud, amplified, radical acceptance that you (and others) are amazing,” says Mighty. “'OK!' is a feeling, mood, even an era. It's when you defeat stagnancy and accept momentum with love. When you like the hustle and the fruits of your labour." Throughout the track, there is a braggadocious air “that makes you wanna krump, twerk and jump into a mosh pit!”

The choral vocals at the end remind us that we are not only here to celebrate ourselves, but others, too.
Mighty’s punchy new single is accompanied by a music video directed by Shiraz Higgins (bbno$, Diplo). It magnifies every lyric with exaggerated visuals, balancing the line between sincerity and comic relief. The video was shot over two days in Victoria, B.C., with over 30 scenes and outfits.
Haviah Mighty recently played a TTC pop-up performance as part of NXNE, where she was joined by Connor Price for a fiery performance of their viral hit "Trendsetter." Her managers, Carlos Pineda and Andrew Thompson, were honoured as part of Billboard Canada's 2025 Managers to Watch, and cheered them on at the celebration at NXNE.
