Justin Bieber Reportedly Becomes Highest Paid Act in Coachella History
Earning $10 million USD, the Canadian pop star reportedly surpasses Beyoncé's $8 million paycheque in 2018.

Justin Bieber’s comeback is in full swing.
Monday night (September 15), the Canadian pop star was announced as a headliner for next year’s Coachella, alongside pop it-girl Sabrina Carpenter, Colombian singer Karol G and Italian DJ Anyma — but Bieber is making history.
Rolling Stone is reporting that Bieber will receive $10 million USD to perform at the California music and arts festival, after working “directly” with festival promoter Goldenvoice to negotiate the terms of his headlining slot.
With this deal, the singer becomes the highest-paid headliner in the music festival’s history, surpassing Beyoncé's $8 million USD paycheque in 2018.

“It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” a source close to Bieber tells the publication. “Between headlining Coachella and the success of Swag, it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin — one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.”
An insider claims Bieber’s fee will be split evenly between the festival’s two weekends. While it’s an in-line figure with previous payouts for top-billing Coachella performers, Bieber is forfeiting an agency commission. It's worth nothing that Goldenvoice parent company AEG, has been Bieber’s touring partner for the entirety of his career.
Bieber’s return to the desert marks his first performance in the U.S. since 2022’s Justice World Tour, which was cancelled midway through due to the singer’s health struggles.
The “Baby” hitmaker’s major feat comes after the surprise-drop releases Swag and Swag II.
Following the sequel album, Bieber’s Swag project (which includes both parts) climbed 8-4 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. It features hits “Daisies” and “Yukon" — both of which sit on this week’s Billboard Canadian Hot 100 at No. 3 and No. 38, respectively.
While it’s Bieber’s first time headlining Coachella, he’s no stranger to the festival’s stage. In 2024, he joined Tems and WizKid for a rendition of “Essence,” and performed “Peaches” with fellow Canadian Daniel Caesar in 2022. Six years prior, he performed “Sorry” with Ariana Grande when she headlined the music festival.

Coachella will take place in Indio, California, on April 10-12 and April 17-19, 2026.
