Will Drake’s ‘Iceman’ Sweep The Billboard Charts? Here Are The Odds
In Ontario, 42% of bettors predict the Toronto rapper will stay at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for 10 or more weeks, while 13% believe he’ll score five spots in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

After many months of anticipation and hype, Drake’s Iceman will finally drop tomorrow (May 15). His first solo album in three years, since a high-profile beef with Kendrick Lamar, will this be the Canadian rapper’s return to the top of the charts?
FanDuel Canada has odds on that.
North America’s No. 1 Sportsbook and Casino has opened the betting markets for the album’s performance on the Billboard charts: how many total spots Iceman will occupy in the top 10 of the Hot 100 in its first week, and how many weeks it will hold the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

These markets, available only on FanDuel Canada, give a new way for fans to participate in the Iceman rollout.
The odds suggest that Drake occupying three spots on the Hot 100 in its first week is the most likely outcome. The favourite (likeliest outcome) on how many weeks the album will be No. 1 on Billboard 200 is 2 or more at -700.
Ontario fans have placed bets on the chart performance, and the results are in: they are even more optimistic than the odds suggest.
According to betting data from FanDuel Canada, 42% of Ontarians predict Drake will be No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200, remaining in that spot for a whopping 10 or more weeks.
His previous record was for 2016’s Views, which spent 13 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 in the U.S. and 12 weeks in his home country on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. With the amount of hype that Iceman has received, the No. 1 spot is within reach.
Iceman is Drake’s ninth studio album, and its release comes after nearly a year of teasing, which concluded last month with a stack of ice blocks in Toronto that contained the release date. Fans swarmed the activation to find the answer.

Drake has kept fairly quiet about the tracklist and features for the album. Earlier this month, he was seen around Toronto filming a music video, while his Toronto mansion was virtually iced out.
