This week, rising country singer Josh Ross is starting his cross-Canada tour. In recent years, the Waterdown, Ontario native has been making waves across the country scene, scoring multiple hits on the charts, most recently with “Hate How You Look” on Billboard Canada’s Country Airplay chart. Hot on the heels of his debut album, Later Tonight, Ross is leaning into the momentum, taking his country charm across the nation.
Additionally, Nova Scotia’s Goldie Boutilier brings her high-energy hits to Edmonton, while Little Mix alum Jade performs her solo discography in Vancouver. Then, rising British singer-songwriter Erin LeCount secures a sold-out slot in Toronto.

Concert of the Week
Josh Ross, Casino New Brunswick, Moncton — Februsry 6; MTELUS, Montreal — February 10
Josh Ross is bringing his cowboy regalia on the road.
The rising Canadian country singer has picked his home country for a coast-to-coast outing, making stops in Moncton and Montreal this week.
2025 was a major year for the Ontario native, who scored multiple charting hits on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, including “Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na),” featuring R&B hitmaker Akon and “Hate How You Look” — the latter of which peaked at No. 28. Over on the Airplay charts, it brought Ross his fourth No. 1 on Canadian country radio for a sole week. The chart recognition propelled the emerging singer to No. 9 on Billboard Canada’s Top Canadian Artists ranking.
Ross is hitting the road in support of his debut album, Later Tonight, released last September via Universal Music Canada. The project — which peaked at No. 17 on the Canadian Albums chart — doubles down on Ross’s earnest, emotional songwriting, and is tuned to a rock-tinged country soundscape that has defined his ascent. Last year, Ross tied with pop it-girl Tate McRae for the most Juno nominations, scoring another four this year.

“Every single we put out, every show we’ve played has led to this,” Ross said in a press statement, prior to the record’s release. “We dug deep writing for this album, leaning into getting caught in your feelings, breaking up, making up.” Now, fans get to hear the country it-boy croon his heart away on stage.
As Ross embarks on a two-month trek across Canada, he is set to perform for many sold-out and nearly sold-out venues. It’s clear his star power is continuing to rise — with no signs of slowing down.

Goldie Boutilier, Midway Music Hall, Edmonton — February 5
Goldie Boutilier is indeed the “King of Possibilities.” The Nova Scotia native is set perform in Western Canada this week, bringing her high-energy and high-concept discography to the stage. “These nights are going to be unforgettable,” she wrote on Instagram. After going through a revolving door of labels and aliases, the east coast singer went back to her roots, re-establishing herself as an alt-country star — and it has clearly resonated with listeners, as she secures headlining slots in bigger venues and her streams continue to spike.

Jade, Vogue Theatre, Vancouver — February 7
Last September, former Little Mix member Jade traded in her radio-friendly bubblegum pop hits for maximalist soundscapes that blend disco, electroclash and synth-pop — culminating in the release of her acclaimed debut album, That’s Showbiz Baby! Now, the British pop star is taking her solo hits, including “It Girl” and “Angel of My Dreams,” on the road. As she performs to a sold-out crowd in Vancouver, fans can expect eccentric costumes, flashing lights and captivating choreography.

Erin LeCount, The Garrison, Toronto — February 7
British singer-songwriter Erin LeCount has become one of the most compelling artists in the bedroom pop scene with a stream of self-produced tracks that celebrate atmospheric soundscapes and captivating synths. While LeCount has a strong online fanbase, her DIY approach to music has become larger than life — selling out multiple shows on her headline tour, including a stop in Toronto. “it’s the greatest joy / dream of my life to be in these rooms singing these songs and something magic happens every time,” she wrote on Instagram.
