Madonna Earns First Billboard Canadian Albums No. 1 in Over a Decade with 'Confessions II'

The Queen of Pop earns her ninth No. 1 Canadian album. Plus, Tame Impala and Jennie rise to No. 2 on the Canadian Hot 100 with "Dracula," and Sombr's "Homewrecker" becomes his highest-charting hit in Canada.

The Queen of Pop is back on top.

Madonna takes the top spot on this week's Billboard Canadian Albums chart, dated July 18, with Confessions II, which debuts at No. 1. The sequel to her 2005 LP Confessions on a Dance Floor becomes her ninth No. 1 album in Canada and her first chart-topping effort in over ten years. Rebel Heart debuted atop the chart back in 2015, becoming her eighth.
