Playboi Carti ​No Longer Opening for​ The Weeknd in Vancouver, Edmonton

Live Nation British Columbia cites "border crossing issues" for the rapper's removal in a statement released ahead of the first Vancouver show tonight (July 15).

It looks like Playboi Carti fans in Canada will have to wait a little longer to see him live.

Live Nation British Columbia released a statement on its Instagram Stories this morning (July 15) confirming that the Atlanta rapper will no longer be opening for the Vancouver and Edmonton shows on The Weeknd's After Hours Til Dawn tour "due to border crossing issues." The promoter apologized for any inconvenience.
