In advance of the public ticket on-sale this Friday, iHeartRadio Canada announced today the first slate of performers for the 2018 iHeartRadio Canada Jingle Ball, taking place Sunday, Dec. 2 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena.


The 3rd annual big-budget spectacle includes performances from Khalid, Dua Lipa, The Chainsmokers, Alessia Cara, bülow, Loud Luxury, Lauv, Max, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, Delaney Jane, and Tyler Shaw.

Additional performers and celebrity appearances are to be announced.

New this year, the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball has announced the CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish as its official charitable partner.

Shakira & The Weeknd Join FIFA Global Citizen Education Board Ahead of 2026 World Cup With Ivanka Trump, Serena Williams & More Also Onboard

The organization aims to raise $100 million to make education more accessible globally.

Shakira and The Weeknd are two of several big names joining the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund’s Advisory Board ahead of next year’s World Cup, it was announced Monday (Oct. 27).

The Latin music superstar and Canadian hitmaker will work with fellow board members Ivanka Trump, Hugh Jackman, Gianni Infantino, Hugh Evans and Serena Williams — as well as other “leading figures across entertainment, sports, and business,” according to a release — in overseeing the fund’s efforts to make education more accessible around the world. They’ll draw on their own personal experiences and careers to provide guidance and ensure that the fund “achieves maximum impact” ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup next summer.
