Charlotte Day Wilson, Testpilot, Walk Off The Earth to Headline Canadian Music Week 2024
Over 250 acts will play the music discovery festival in Toronto from June 1-8, including country artist Dallas Smith, rock band Finger Eleven, rapper Killy and art-pop artist Allie X.

Over 250 acts will take the stage in Toronto this June for Canadian Music Week (CMW).
For its 42nd edition, the new music festival is tapping Toronto R&B artist Charlotte Day Wilson — fresh off releasing her sophomore album, Cyan Blue — and EDM artist Deadmau5's techno alter ego Testpilot as headliners, as well as popular Canadian acts like pop group Walk Off The Earth, rock band Finger Eleven, and country artist Dallas Smith.
Alt-pop artist Allie X, folk group Altameda, rapper Killy and punk group The Anti-Queens (who was in this week's edition of Fresh Sounds Canada) will also perform. The festival serves as a discovery venue for rising artists, providing showcasing opportunities at over two dozen venues around the city, as well as a conference with networking and educational sessions for industry members.

CMW is co-presenting several high-profile events, including the inaugural Billboard Canada Power Players celebration on June 2, as well as the Canadian Live Music Industry Awards, set for June 4, which recognize leaders in live performance across the country.
The Jim Beam Indie Awards will take place as part of CMW on June 6, recognizing Canadian artists and music companies, with Allison Russell, Charlotte Cardin and The Beaches leading the nominations, and Finger Eleven headlining.

- Tekno at the Danforth Music Hall on Friday, June 7
- Softcult at Velvet Underground on Friday, June 7 with special guests Tallies and Seventh Dose
- Allie X at the Opera House on Saturday, June 8
- IZNO presents VISIONQUEST at The Axis Clubon Saturday, June 8
