September 26, 2025, Toronto, ON — Global music authority Billboard has announced the honourees for the 2025 Billboard Canada Women in Music Awards, taking place on Wednesday, October 1 at Rebel in Toronto. Hosted by award-winning artist and TV personality Keshia Chanté, the star-studded evening will honour the most influential women and gender-diverse leaders in Canadian music with inspiring performances, awards and surprise appearances.

This year’s Women of the Year Award, presented by L’Oréal Paris, goes to The Beaches, the Toronto-born band whose meteoric rise has redefined Canadian rock on a global stage. With sold-out tours, hit singles dominating Canadian radio, and multiple music awards to their name, The Beaches are the first group in Billboard Canada history to receive this prestigious honour.
