Les Cowboys Fringants, Charlotte Cardin Most Streamed Québécois Artists on Spotify in Canada in 2024
Spotify's year-end data also reveals Taylor Swift as the most-streamed artist in Canada — and the only woman in the top ten. The streaming service also put out a list of Top Exported Canadian Artists.

As individual Spotify Wrapped graphics take over social media feeds, the streaming giant has shared some insightful Canadian Wrapped data.
Spotify shared the top Québécois artists streamed in Canada, with rock group Les Cowboys Fringants taking the top spot, followed by Charlotte Cardin and Céline Dion.
Les Cowboys were very active this year following the 2023 death of frontman Karl Tremblay, releasing the full-length Pub Royal, which debuted at No. 3 on the Canadian Albums chart. The group also won big at the ADISQ Awards, taking home wins for Author or Composer of the Year and Song of the Year.

Charlotte Cardin in No. 2 comes as no surprise, given the pop singer-songwriter's international breakout following 2023's 99 Nights. Cardin also won the first Woman of the Year award at Billboard Canada Women in Music this year.
Céline had a huge streaming moment following her comeback performance at the Paris Olympics, spiking her own catalogue as well as Edith Piaf's. The soundtrack to her documentary I Am: Celine Dion also charted on the Canadian Albums chart, bringing back some of her immortal hits.
Rounding out the list of top streamed Québécois artists is Souldia — who recently hit the charts with his new release Nouvelle Vie — rapper Enima, singer-songwriter Patrick Watson, dance producer Kaytranada, classical composer Alexandra Streliski, pop-punkers Simple Plan and indie pop group Men I Trust.

Looking outside La Belle Province, as she was globally, Taylor Swift was the top-streamed artist on Spotify in Canada. Notably, she was also the only woman in the top ten, which is rounded out by rappers and country musicians (and, in the case of Post Malone, a former rapper turned country musician). That's noticeably different from the global list, which features Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande.

If Drake and The Weeknd are the only Canadians on Canada's most-streamed artists list, Spotify does highlight a few others who are doing well internationally on the Top Exported Canadian Artists list.
Justin Bieber is to be expected — given he was recently named the 8th greatest pop star of the 21st century by Billboard — but Tate McRae at No. 4 indicates that the Calgary singer is maintaining longevity past her "Greedy" chart climb last year. Shawn Mendes at No. 5, meanwhile, suggests that even if he isn't topping the charts anymore, he's still got a place in many listeners' hearts — and playlists.
