MMF Canada has been the voice of Canadian music managers and self-managed artists for nearly 30 years and its Honour Roll has celebrated their outstanding career achievements.
The MMF Canada Honour Roll celebrates a Canadian manager for outstanding achievement, while the Trailblazer Award highlights a manager or self-managed artist carving new paths in the industry.
"MMF Canada is excited to once again be presenting our annual Honour Roll Awards alongside Billboard Canada's Managers to Watch," says Amie Therrian, executive director of MMF Canada. "This important partnership amplifies the crucial contributions of managers, whose work mostly behind the scenes doesn't always get its due. Last year was a beautiful gathering of community, with managers, artists and industry from across the country. We can't wait to bring everyone together again to celebrate another group of incredible managers whose impact is felt throughout the music ecosystem!"
The inaugural 2025 team-up brought many of the country's brightest and most influential music managers into one room to create community and honour their contributions.

Robbie Lackritz received the Honour Roll distinction during the Managers to Watch ceremony. He was introduced by two of his clients, acclaimed singer-songwriters Feist and Bahamas, who gave a playful rendition of "Thank You For Being a Friend," rewritten to say "thank you for managing me," before giving his acceptance speech with his young son Leo standing beside him.
MMF Canada also presented its Trailblazer Award, which celebrates Canadian managers who are carving new paths in the industry. The prize went to Rhyna Thompson of Envision Management, spotlighting her work on the multimedia Nufonia Must Fall graphic novel stage production with veteran Canadian scratch DJ Kid Koala.
Lackritz and Thompson's wins added to the celebratory atmosphere of the entire night, which honoured several Canadian management powerhouses. Laurie Lee Boutet was crowned Manager of the Year by her clients The Beaches, Sonali Singh won the International Manager Award for her role in Diljit Dosanjh's global breakthrough and Breanna Price received the Manager on the Rise award from her client and husband, rapper Connor Price.
Billboard Canada Managers to Watch celebrates emerging and established managers throughout the industry with a curated list that will be released along with the celebration.
