Rogers Stadium Implements New Changes to Address Issues Ahead of Second Concert Season in Toronto
The stadium located in the Downsview Park area has made several adjustments this year to enhance fan experience, accessibility and transportation to and from the site, including free rides home on the TTC.

Rogers Stadium is getting ready for another big summer.
Today (May 21), the venue announced that it is once again partnering with the TTC to offer free rides home from all concerts held at the stadium. The initiative is meant to encourage concertgoers to use public transit, which remains the most effective way to access the venue.
“With thousands of music lovers expected to visit Rogers Stadium for this year’s concert season, taking transit is the best way to get around,” says Mayor Olivia Chow. “I am pleased that the TTC and Live Nation are working together again so fans have an accessible and reliable way home.”

The free rides leave from nearby Downsview Park, Wilson and Sheppard West stations following concerts. Concertgoers can show their tickets to enter. The TTC will also increase the frequency of trains running at night as of 10:30 pm, which will reduce congestion for those who leave early.
Live Nation Canada has made a number of changes to the venue's infrastructure based on comments and challenges faced during its opening season.
This year, a new pedestrian path has also been added from Sheppard West station, spanning 900 metres between the TTC station and Gate 2 at Rogers Stadium. After many criticized the long waits and bottlenecks leaving the venue last year, this creates a third point of entry and exit that facilitates mobility around the venue, helping reduce the congestion that occurred on paths towards Downsview Park and Wilson stations last year.
Rogers Stadium has also implemented a new shuttle service loop between Wilson and Rogers Stadium, beginning 30 minutes before the opening of Fan Plaza and running until one hour after concerts end, a schedule based on last year's crowd activity. There are now multiple ride share drop-off and pickup zones, with a shuttle service to bring fans between these spots and the venue's gates.

Fans can download their tickets and access real-time updates regarding concerts, the weather and more on a new Rogers Stadium app. The stadium has added more covered areas for shade, washrooms and water stations, while concession stands have been relocated for better flow, Live Nation says.
The lighting inside the venue will now stay on after the show and has been made brighter to eliminate dark zones, whereas any lights shining on surround areas have been readjusted to the convenience of neighbours living nearby. There is a new fan space named Terminal 81 dedicated to pre-show entertainment which will feature DJ performances.
Rogers Stadium kicks off its 2026 summer season with five sold-out concerts by Bruno Mars beginning this Saturday (May 23). It's another blockbuster year for the venue, which will welcome several of the summer's biggest concerts. Rogers Stadium will host 20 shows this summer, up from 14 last year, welcoming a wider musical palette with the arrival of country and Latin music concerts from the likes of Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton and Karol G, among others.
